Located in the Leeuwin-Naturaliste National Park, Boranup Camp is nestled amongst the towering karri trees of Boranup Forest.
While there is no direct access to the coast from this campground, there are beaches located within this National Park, providing safe zones for swimming, snorkelling and diving, as well as fishing in the appropriate zones. The Cape to Cape Trail is also nearby, and rock climbing is also possible in certain locations.
The coastline with the Park can often only be accessed by foot and fishing is permitted only in certain areas.
Strong coastal winds and heavy surf can be a danger at some of the beaches within the Park, and the limestone of the coast is prone to collapse. Observe all warnings in the park and ensure you check tide predictions and weather warnings before your trip.
Boranup Camp itself can accommodate seven tents and small campervans only.
Generators are not permitted. Bookings cannot be made.
Campfires are usually permitted between 1 April and 30 November (bring your own firewood) but be sure to check fire restrictions prior to your trip.
