We were picked up on time for our Day tour of Bruny Island. Even with some last minute cancellations due to weather. The tour went ahead and turned out the weather was no issue at all. We had an informative thoughtful tour. We enjoyed the Bruny Island experience and got the opportunity for some great memories and photo's, Having tried driving ourselves over to Bruny Island in the past. We had not been able to get to all the different sites and producersy. On our own drive to Bruny we missed alot, as we simply didn't have the knowledge of where to start or how to pace out the day. Like a tour operator does, which is another reason to take an informative Tassie tour like this.

we had a great day at Bruny Island through this tour. our guide made sure we have enough time to enjoy every stop. he made sure we cover everything in the itinerary and added a few stops on the way. very knowledgeable about the island and impressive on his knowledge about the local plants.

This was a very enjoyable and informative tour, enjoyed by all the customers. Highly recommended and worth doing again in the future. The tour guide was friendly and informative as well as humorous at times, and gave us just the right amount of commentary. The tour stops were well spaced out and variable...some were at commercial locations, some historic and some purely scenic. The highlights for me were the lighthouse built by convicts in 1836 and the historic stop at Adventure Bay visited by Captain James Cook in 1777 along with ship master William Bligh. We were fortunate that we arrived at the Ferry Terminal at times when there was only a short wait.

Tassie Tours gave great value, more moderate prices than other operators. Excellent, knowledgeable guide, safe driver who got us started early & ahead of other groups, so there was no crowding at popular sites. Tour included all the good attractions; especially loved the walk along the stream in the forest and The Neck lookout. Lunch place terrific, not too expensive, but optional cheese and beer place disorganised and pricey (not worth going in). The island itself was the highlight: scenery, beaches, violent winds - especially at the lighthouse, huge skies and low-key development there. Something other countries don't often provide and Tassie Tours gave us the best of it!
